Change
Management
During the course of any contract there will be times when changes will need to be made to the supported infrastructure. It is vital to
your business that such change is managed and changes do not impact on any other part of the infrastructure. IP Integration has a Change
Management procedure designed to prevent such situations.
Before any IP Integration engineer can modify even the smallest items on your site, your IP Integration Account Manager, and at least
one person from your organisation must approve the change. It is recognised that in some cases changes may need to be authorised by more
than one client representative depending on the scale of the change and the client departments affected, in these instances our Account
Manager will ensure that the necessary approvals are obtained.
To have a change authorised, the engineer must demonstrate that the change will have no negative impact. Changes should also be
reversible if necessary.
Change management will also prevent a change being performed at a critical time in your business cycle, as well as allowing IP
Integration to try and tie together changes where possible and thus minimising inconvenience.
